ORGANIZATIONS KILL KERALA FILM INDUSTRY

Film Exhibitors no new Malayalam Movies is currently shown in Theatres acros the Kerala State from first November 2011.The Distributors Association have now reliated saying that they will not distribute films of any language.But, medium type distribution company's ready to distribute their movies.

With an alarming fall in revenue,very few hits and poor turnout in cinema houses,there was precious little to cheer about for the Malayalam Film Industry in 2011.The Industry,which has a working capital of Rs.250 crores and employed 3 lakh persons,would grind to a halt.

The leaders of the Producers and Distributors Association are leading the association presently their are not in the field neither Production nor Distribution.Labours are unsatisfe of appointing as Chairman in the Labour welfare fund.

COMMON MAN'S RIGHT

Kerala High Court stayed the newly enacted Kerala Public ways Restriction of Assemblies and Procession act 2011 that permitted meetings on roads and roadsides.The Supreme Court had supported its rationale that the right to hold a public meeting was inferior to the common man's right to free movement.
